Menstrual cycles can turn out to be a terrible experience for women especially when they are the kinds who are not used to bearing a lot of pain. Causes of dysmenorrhoea can be many, ranging from vitamin imbalances in the body to hormonal problems or complications that can occur. Sometimes the uterus catches some diseases or infections because of which it becomes weak and such a problem occurs. Then there are also those women who have been taking some kind of contraceptives for long, or have had multiple abortions. These things are almost like playing with your own body's biological cycle and messing with it, because of which several complications tend to occur, and dysmenorrhoea is one of them.
Increasing the amount of calcium, zinc, vitamins and magnesium rich foods during the time the menstrual cycle is on helps in getting rid of the pain. Of course, if you have a severe case, then there is no way that you can afford to neglect this problem and you need get a check up with a doctor done as soon as possible.
The best way to deal with any kind of problems that relate to your menstrual cycle is to adopt a healthy diet. This is because a healthy diet will ensure a balanced intake of all the important vitamins and minerals for the body. Further, your hormonal system will remain balanced. Regular exercising for those women who are obese also helps to get rid of problems relating to menstrual cycles. Obese women have more chances of dysmenorrhoea as compared to other women.
