Often clothes with mix fabric can cause allergic reaction, as your body discharges chemical in reaction of mix fabric that create your skin swell resulting in hives.

Usually it can be cured naturally through your internal immune system without using any medication. But what if you have to go to any party or some important meeting and you are facing urticaria on the face? Obviously in such times you need to get a cure urgently to get rid of hives.

Most Herbalists are in the opinion that in order to treat urticaria you should know the cause and source of this disease. This is easiest way to treat; as you will get the actual cause of the disease, now it is easy to deal with it. There are several home remedies for hives.

Use Quercetin on Hives

Quercetin is a plant tincture that can be easily found in leafy green vegetables, onions, apples, and many other natural foods. This extract works as a natural antihistamine, which is extremely beneficial in getting rid of hives in lots of cases. It is said to be one of the best natural home remedies for hives. Just eat such type of foods and stay away from this disease.

Oil of Sandalwood

Sandalwood oil is the most popular home remedy. It is a Native American medicine and in US hives are taken very seriously and considered to be a flaming situation for those going through with this.

Sandalwood oil is perfect for treatment of hives and gives soothing and cooling effects on hives. This oil is also known as the best tranquilizer for the skin especially effected from urticaria. Its application is very easy, just dip the cotton ball in the oil and apply on the hives. Repeat the some procedure after every 3 to 4 hours, and there's no need to rinse it every time.

Use Mint on Hives

Mint has a cooling effect and this is the reason why it is a natural remedy to treat many health issues. Mint oil can be applied to relieve the infuriating indications of urticaria. The finest way to use mint is to make ice cubes of mint and then apply them on your face or the infected skin.

Further you can also follow another remedy which involves dribbling 2 teaspoons of freshly flattened mint leaves in blistering water for approximately 5 minutes. After that, freeze them in an ice cube tray. When the ice cubes are ready apply them onto your reddened and aggravated urticaria. If you end up with some extra cubes you can use them later, but don't waste them as they can be utilized.

Prepare an Oatmeal Mask

Take two cups of oatmeal and 3 tablespoons of cornstarch; add adequate water so that it becomes a paste. Apply on the urticaria for about fifteen to twenty minutes, and then rinse the mask with water. This mask will dry out all most all the hives and will result in soft silky skin.
