Home Remedies for Blackheads, Natural Treatment



One of the main and widespread skin problems that almost everyone faces is blackheads. Blackheads are a bit bigger than usual follicles that arise from excessive oil secretions of sebaceous glands. Not only is your facial skin affected through blackhead but also your chest, back, or any other part that contain sebaceous glands.

Usually this problem of Blackheads is common in people having oily skin. Blackheads could be very irritating and there are many herbal treatments as well as home remedies for blackheads. There are lots of natural and herbal solutions which you can easily follow at home to get rid of blackheads.

Lime juice and ground nut oil

Fresh lime juice and nut oil is good to start with. Mix one teaspoon of ground nut oil and fresh lime juice to make well diluted paste. Simply apply this mixture on your face for about an hour and then rinse it with chilled water. This not only wipes out your blackheads but also helps you in prevention.

Epsom salt

Another home remedy that you can follow involves mixing of one teaspoon of Epsom salt, one-fourth cup of hot water and 4 drops of iodine. With the help of cotton ball you can apply this mixture on your blackheads. Make sure cotton ball must be dipped properly in the mixture.

Leave that area till it dry out naturally, now rub those areas with a clean cloth. All the blackhead will absorbed in that clean cloth. The best feature of this home remedy it works immediately.



Facial of lemon, salt and honey

Facial mask made up of lemon juice, salt and honey is also very beneficial for treating blackheads. Take all the ingredients in equal proportions one teaspoon of each item. Mix them well and massage on your blackheads gently.

Leave the skin till it dries with mast and then wash your face with lukewarm water. You may feel some irritation and stinging but its all normal because lemon and honey does makes that effect and irritation and itching is a sign of getting cured form blackheads.

Make a mask of ground radish seeds

Crush the ground radish seeds and make a paste by including some water. Use of this mixture on your blackheads is very effective in order to get rid of them. It is also good if you apply this mask overnight and then wash face next morning with cold water.

It's important to keep in mind that frequently changing different home remedies for treatment of blackheads does not deliver the desired results. It is always best to follow one home remedy and practice it for certain time to achieve its optimum results for getting rid of blackheads.

As mentioned above the main cause of blackheads is the oily skin. So do keep away form such diets which can cause more oil production in your skin. Prevention also reduces chances of blackheads popping back up again.

Avoid butters and fried meals. Totally stop consuming food items containing artificial sugar and fats. Girls who wear makeup should start thinking about using an oil free powder or base to for prevention of blackheads.
