Home Remedies for Bags under the Eyes



A bag under eyes, also known as the dark circles, is a condition where the portion around the eyes becomes dark. It is very common around the world population and almost 95% of the people have bags under the eyes. The reasons for the dark circles could be due to lack of sleep, over dosage of drugs and medicines, aging problems, stress and sun exposure. Lack of vital nutrients may also be the cause of this problem.

This dark spot damages the overall look of the face. So, in order to get control over them, some home remedies can be looked for. The mixture of tomato juice along with lime juice, gram flour and turmeric powder can be an effective home remedy against the dark circles. Take 2 teaspoons of tomato juice and mix it with 2 teaspoons of lime juice and a pint of turmeric powder and gram flour. Form a paste and apply it on the dark circles for 20 to 25 minutes.

Also, application of potato juice or cucumber juice on to the eyes, with the help of cotton balls will provide the required result against the bags under the eyes. Adequate rest must be forbidden by an individual. A sleep of 7 to 8 hours is a must. This will also help against the stress related problems and thus, will be beneficiary against the dark circles. Also, implementation of the cold tea bags (used ones) can be effective home remedy for dark circles.



Another home remedy for bags under the eyes that can be used is the mixture of lime juice, lanolin cream and cucumber juice. Place this mixture on the eyes for 20 minutes. Also, drinking of tomato juice which contains lemon juice, mint leaves and salt can be profitable against bags under eyes related problems. Besides, one should always use UV protected sunglasses as this could safeguard the eyes from the rays of the sun.

Also, plenty of water consumption should be taken in as this could really help in lighting up the affected dark areas under the eyes. A mixture of pineapple juice and turmeric powder can also be used as an effective home remedy for bags under the eyes. Also, almond oil can be used for the treatment of bags under the eyes. Massaging the dark region around the eyes with almond oil is helpful. A diet that is rich in iron, vitamin E and vitamin C should be included.

Rose water can be very supportive against the dark circles. Dip some cotton balls in the rose water and apply it on the eyes for 15 to 20 minutes. Application of crushed mint leaves on to the eyes is helpful for the dark circles removal. Also, formation of a paste using milk and almond (crushed) is a useful home remedy for bags under the eyes. Place the paste on to the eyes for 10 minutes.
