Home Remedies for Backache, Back Pain Natural Treatment



Back pain, also termed as backache, is an uncomfortable scenario faced by an individual at the lower back. The pain can either be sudden and severe or be chronic, if lasted more than 3 to 4 months. Backache is more common among younger generation and old age people, women being the major sufferer. Women also suffer with severe back pain during pregnancy period.

Backache affects our daily routine and a person is unable to perform any physical activities. So, back pain needs to be handled properly by following some of the home remedies. To begin with, soak about 50 grams of wheat in water for over 10 hours and afterwards, add 25 grams of cuscus grass and coriander. Prepare a paste of these contents and boil this paste in milk and drink it. This mixture would help in getting relief from the back pain and would be helpful in increasing the digestive strength.

Also, the powered mixture of cuscus grass and sugar candy would be beneficiary. Blend this powder into the milk and consume it on daily purpose for 7 to 10 days. It is one of the most effective measures that can be used for backache problems. Intake of glucose and honey in lukewarm water would also help in backache related problems. Resting is an important activity for the faster healing of the body parts. So, it is important that the person suffering from backache induce enough rest. It is essential to avoid soft cushioned seats and also, to indulge the movement of the body.



Exercise is an important treatment that one should follow during backache related problems. Exercise not only increases the supply of nutrients value for the spinal disc but also delays the deterioration process. Try to avoid any exercise that requires back support. Prevent the bending of your back as much as possible. Instead, try to bend the knees as this would reduce the pressure on the back.

Massaging is an essential procedure that is helpful against the pain related to the back. Massaging the back with the garlic oil would provide profitable gains from backache. Boil about 8 to 10 cloves of garlic in coconut oil. Anti-inflammatory oil can also be used as it penetrates through the tissues much faster and provide the desired result. But do not over massage the area as this could temper the tissues.

Lemon juice can also be helpful in handling discomfort state of the back. One should intake lemon juice, mixed with salt, three times a day. Also, try to keep back as warm as possible. This would speed up the recovery process. Raw potato is also very useful in the treatment against backache and is a very good home remedy that can be followed.

To conclude, back pain is a common problem faced by a number of individuals. So, they can take the corrective measures that are mentioned above and if there is no improvement on their current state, they should consult a specialist.
