Home Remedies for Acid Reflux, Natural Treatment



Scientific term of acid reflux is termed as Gastro Esophageal Reflux Disease. It is a situation, which involves various signs that matches with the heartburn. In most of the situations, people who are tormented with acid reflux usually experience continuous heartburn for two or more days in a week. It may become a serious concern, if prolonged for many days. This may result in scar tissue and further it leads to swallowing problem. Gastro Esophageal Reflux Disease is associated with high possibility of esophageal cancer. There are also people, who suffer from acid reflux with no feeling of heartburn. In these situations, the indications involves wheezing, stiffness of throat, chest pain, problem in breathing, a sour taste in the mouth, sporadic sleep, coughing dry, and bad breath. Acid reflux also at times results in reiteration in the mouth; this is caused mostly by excess of eating or inclining downwards, going to bed just after the meal.

Apple Cider Vinegar - This is considered to be an excellent remedy for fighting with acid reflux. It may seem strange to hear that an acid could be drunk to treat an acid problem. Obviously there are many kinds of acids good and bad. But apple cider vinegar is one of the good acids to treat this. Mix one teaspoon of apple cider vinegar in half glass of water. Intake of this water at your meal time is a useful home remedy for acid reflux.



Ginger Root - It is an incredible herb, which is successful in sucking the acid of the stomach and has the derivative consequence of soothing the nerves. Consuming a pill of ginger root on daily basis from a nutritional store may prove to be beneficial.

Fennel Seeds - These seeds are perfumed and dominant herb that aids in digesting. This also has other advantages. These seeds have a compound called Anethole that helps to curb the contraction of the stomach. As a result, this is an effective home remedy for Acid Reflux. After the meals are over, consume half teaspoon of Fennel Seeds and wait for the result.

Consuming Milk - Intake of a glass of milk is considered to be an advantageous home remedy.

Intake of Water- Drinking plenty of water reduces the acid of the stomach so remember to have a glass of water after your meals. It might prove a beneficial remedy.

Chewing of Almonds - A little almonds taken in the morning or after the dinner has proved successful in treating acid reflux for some people.

Consuming Papaya Enzymes - Papaya enzyme tablets are available in the market that cures acid reflux of the people.
