How to Prevent Acne and Pimples



Acne is skin infection which develops pimple on your skin. It is usually due to excess of oil production by certain glands of skin. The problem starts when dead skin cells combine oil and clog up the skin. Severe pimples mean that you may get hundreds of pimples that can totally cover your skin. You may get pimples on your face, neck, chest and back.

Pimples can be due to hormonal change, bacteria, or excess of oil in skin. The more you get dirt on your oily skin the more you will be encountered with acne. Puberty is the most vulnerable age during which you can get acne due to hormonal change occurring into body.

Everybody wants to look beautiful and to looking beautiful means beautiful skin. Females are more concerned about their pimples as their body have tendency to develop more and more pimples during hormonal periods.

Natural causes of acne can be prevented by opting different methods. Severe form of acne causes pain, discomfort and embarrassment. Acne sometime leaves very stubborn and ugly marks on skin so it is better to take preventive measure. Prevention is better than cure so here are some tips for preventing pimples on your skin.

Keep your hand clean all the time and avoid touching your face regularly. As your hands are more exposed to dirt, bacteria and oils, untidiness of hands can result into acne development.
Keep other things clean too, which have access to your face. Make sure you change your pillow covers regularly.

Wash your face regularly after few hours in a day. Don't use soap, which has oils, fragrances and artificial flavors as these chemicals, facilitates acne growth.



Cleansing and moisturizing should be done and always make sure that you are not applying anything on your face which is rich in oil.

Take extreme care of your face especially while washing your hair as shampoo contain fragrances, oils and chemicals which triggers breakouts in many people.

Makeup should be properly removed and face should be washed before going to bed. Because makeup is bad for acne as it blocks the pores making it difficult for skin to breath. Due to makeup oil get trapped beneath skin, which combines with dead skin and produce pimples.

Avoid fatty foods as fats accelerate hormones to develop acne lot quicker. Only take balanced diet and avoid too much fatty food items.

Drinking lots of water is highly recommended and stay hydrated as water cleans up the entire system. Water helps in cleansing of face so it is recommended to drink at least up to 3 liters of water in a day.

Lack of sleeping also results into acne as human body need 8-10 hours rest. When your body doesn't get the required rest, this results into hormonal change which can promote acne.

Natural treatment at home can prevent pimple growth.

1. Using fresh fruits and vegetables in diet diminishes the effect of hormones facilitating acne

2. Before taking bath apply mixture of tomato pulp, honey and rose-water. It will make the skin fresh for longer time

3. Use products or items rich in zinc, vitamin A and vitamin E

4. Use Aloe Vera, honey, and mint juice regularly as it helps skin to remain fresh.
