Home Remedies for Yeast Infection



Yeast infection infect is a fungal infection. This mostly appears in the cases of like oral thrush and or vaginal diseases. Despite being slow in nature, this infection has potential to be a life-threatening disease. Candida infections are also considered in same category however these are typically confined to severely immune-deficient persons, such as AIDS and cancer patients.

Yeast infection often causes local swelling and discomfort and is very common in human being. Yeast infection is termed as a syndrome that shows multiple causes and results in form of diseases. Though most people call it as a yeast infection, but in scientific terms is called as Candidiasis or moniliasis.

Candida yeast is mostly available in human body and our immune system drives its growth in the human body.

The main cause of yeast infection is usually the increment in carbohydrates especially by products like sweets, chocolates in blood. For example, a diabetic may have these symptoms of yeast infections.

The person who is suffering from this infection its important that he has sufficient information and knowledge on yeast infection before he moves ahead to cure the problem with home remedies. Inaccurate analysis and research has the wrong implications and would only yields dangerous consequences. Homemade solutions should never be replaced for accurate medical treatment and one should not hesitate about the yeast infection and should know everything to be sure of the effects that homemade medicines could cause. Do's

Tea tree oil is extensively used as a home remedy for yeast infection. This oil is normally available everywhere. One can get it at general stores, medicine and natural food stores etc. The idea way to apply this oil is with lubricant oil like olive oil. The lubricant oil will help tea tree oil from getting absorbed into tampon. Other thing to note is that tea tree oil may cause sting if allowed to touch with vulva, so better use applicator tampon which you can lift off the top part so that the tampon is exposed and you can apply tea tree oil.

The patient should be helped to get his cloths removed which are affected by yeast infection.
One should be allowed to make the air reach in the yeast infection areas. If the problem is in and around the genital area which has most likelihood of getting infected with the yeast infection, use of talcum powder and talc like starch are recommended for quick relief. Wash affected area with liquids like dettol and other antifungal products. Eating curd is also recommended as it helps immune system to be stronger.

Don'ts

Antibiotics should not be used in treatment for yeast infection as they help in eliminating the required resources to counter the problem. This may also increase chances of aggravation of the condition.
