Home Remedies for Thick Glowing Hair

Everyone wants thick glowing hair. Who doesn't? But to have thick, glowing hair, you must be willing to do the home remedies without fail. You must try a method for at least a month to see results. By jumping from one remedy to another, you are not giving the remedy enough time to act. Also, if your hair does get better, you will not know which of the home remedies was actually beneficial. Let us look at some home remedies for thick glowing hair.

We will be looking at home remedies that increase hair thickness and also give it a glow or shine. There are many home remedies that use natural substances for thick, glowing hair. Which home remedy is better and which is not, is difficult to tell, as each person's hair responds differently. So try a home remedy for some time to see whether it has any effect on your hair. Then you can continue to use it to maintain your thick glowing hair.

When it comes to hair or even nails and skin, what you put into your body is very important. When your nourishing comes from within, half the battle is won for you to get the thick glowing hair. Nutritious food is best eaten raw. Meat is not necessarily nutritious as many people think. Although it's full of proteins, it's also filled with toxins. Toxins will accumulate and you are definitely not going to be healthy, let alone have thick glowing hair. Foods that can be eaten raw are fresh vegetables, fruits, nuts and seeds. Cooking them kills the vitamins in it. These foods also contain minerals like iron, zinc and iodine for thick glowing hair. Another vital factor for good thick shiny hair or for anything to do with the body is the drinking of eight glasses of water per day. This removes toxins.

Do not stress out with salon treatments like curling, straightening and relaxing. All these methods have a tendency to weaken the roots. Using shampoo often creates a build up of substances on the hair which makes it lose its shine. Once the build-up is removed, you will get shiny, glossy hair.

One of the home remedies for thick glowing hair is to use coconut milk daily. Either scrape the coconut or remove the inner flesh and grind it with water. Strain and squeeze as much of the milk as possible. Rub this milk generously all over the hair and scalp. Leave it for an hour or so and rinse it with warm water to remove as much of the coconut milk as possible. Coconut is excellent for hair growth and shine. An alternative to this will be coconut oil. But it's too oily to use a generous amount. If you use coconut oil, you need to remove it with a mild shampoo. To remove the shampoo build-up, use the rinse below.

To get thick glowing hair, rinse properly after shampooing with either white vinegar or fresh lemon juice to remove any build-up of the shampoo. Using it after the coconut milk treatment will also remove some of the oiliness, as lemon and vinegar are natural astringent. Use these home remedies for thick glowing hair, often.
