Home Remedies for Flabby Skin

SocialTwist Tell-a-Friend

Flabby skin is the result of losing elasticity. This happens as you age, and the skin loses its elasticity. But flabby skin also can result if you are on a starving diet, and then once you've reached the weight that you want, you start eating and putting on weight. After that you diet again and use severe diets to lose the weight you've put on. This yo-yo kind of losing and gaining weight will not help you one bit, in having a great shape. In fact in the long run, it'll only create a lot of flab, because as you lose weight, you also lose muscle tissue. When you lose muscle the fat tissue being soft has nothing to support it, and so looks flabby.

So basically the person needs to tone the skin and at the same time not lose muscular tissue but rather fat tissue. Here are some of the ways that you can use to get rid of flab or prevent flab.

Natural Home Remedies for Flabby Skin

Exercises: The way to tone flab is to do exercise. There are many types of toning exercises that you can do at home, to tone up your muscles. Swing your arms and walk on the spot, so that the flab under the skin can also get firmed up.

Lose Weight the Natural Way: Instead of trying to drastically lose weight, you can lose weight in a more realistic way of watching what you eat, so that you don't end with flabby skin. Eat plenty of fruits and vegetables. They contain important vitamins and minerals that are used in bodily processes. Cut down on all refined sugars and its products. If you are a sweet toothed person replace your daily intake with dark brown sugar, molasses or honey.

Stop Eating Dinner: Cut down on your complex carbohydrates and in fact do not eat anything for dinner. If you get hungry take a glass of fruit juice and a teaspoon of Psyllium husk or seeds. The Psyllium husk will bloat up in the stomach and you'll feel full. The psyllium husk also acts as a "brush" that brushes the colon and removes unwanted substances from it. The next day you'll find that you'll go to toilet well.

Water therapy: Water therapy has been followed by the Indians and Chinese. It is found that water therapy does help people to lose weight. On top of that they have recently found water will help you lose fat. Recent research shows that cholesterol deposited in the arteries and fat in the fat tissues are actually preventive measures taken by the body to prevent dehydration. As you know fat does not allow water to pass through. So by have fat around the cells, they don't get dehydrated. So if you're hydrated, there is no necessity to store fat. This is quite a breakthrough in the information on losing weight, Anyway water therapy is an ancient therapy. You can practice water therapy every day and you'll find that soon you'll have a slimmer body. On getting up out of bed, drink around 5 - 6 glasses of water. That's basically it. Do not brush your teeth before drinking the water. Do this for about 2 - 3 months and see if you weigh less.

So, by using water therapy, not eating dinner, but replacing it with fiber in a glass of fruit juice, and doing exercise you'll soon lose weight without losing protein, and your flabby skin would have disappeared or firmed up.
