Being fit and looking slim and smart is something that almost everyone desires. No one wants to be fat or obese, because those who have been fat and obese know what all problems come along with it. The matter is not just about you being overweight, but what also bothers you is your inferiority complex for not being able to try various fashion trends, restricting yourself from going out due to the fear of embarrassment etc. Most people who are fat do not indulge much in social outings because they feel that others will be making fun of them. As a result, there comes a time when fat people get frustrated and desperately start looking for ways to reduce weight.
Reducing weight is not an entirely impossible or very difficult task, though it may take some time. Those who expect instant weight loss are expecting something wrong, because even if you do manage to achieve instant weight loss, it will not be a safe and effective way of reducing weight. This implies that under a panic situation, you should not resort to all those products available in the market – ranging from medicines to tonics to surgeries and therapies and treatments etc. – which promise instant weight loss. All of these instant weight loss techniques come with some side-effects, some of which stay for an entire lifetime and haunt you.
What you need to do is go in for healthy ways of reducing weight. For that, one of the most important things that you need to do is change your diet plans. You need to start your day with a heavy and healthy breakfast that comprises of milk, fruits and cereals. For the rest of the day, try ensuring that there are no big time gaps between the meals. Eat more short meals throughout the day, instead of 3-4 big meals. Short meals after every 2-3 hours ensure that you do not turn lethargic and hungry both, and at the same time it helps to increase your metabolism, which is essential for weight loss.
Regular exercising also needs to be done. Join a gym or some sport such as lawn tennis, or swimming. You could even go in for dance classes or aerobics. Devote at least 1 hour a day to exercising and you will visibly see the difference.
Change some things in your lifestyle too. The current scenario is such that everyone is stressed because of work. Do not let this stress overburden you. Try getting adequate amount of sleep daily, and keep a few days in a month or say one day a week when you spend time pampering yourself. Go to a spa, or some weekend holiday. Stress too increases weight.
Increase your intake of water daily. Water helps to flush out all the fatty acids and other unnecessary substances too from your body from time to time, and keeps your body balances and weight in check. Reduce consumption of junk food, and focus more on fibre foods and fruits and vegetables.
