Having four to five small meals a day is also better than having three large meals with snacking in the middle. One must also drink a lot of cold water, since it cools the body down and requires fat to be burnt so that the temperature can rise up again.

Having a proper diet, one without excess of food or too much fast food is very important. Fast food contains more carbohydrates and fats than proteins. When the body starts to lack proteins, it stops burning the fat because it feels malnourished. Fizzy drinks and cream, sugar in our daily coffee also add to the hoard of calories, making it difficult to work through the excess and burn fat. To burn fat fast, one should switch to a diet comprising mostly of fresh fruits, vegetables, boiled or cooked meat, juices and whole grain foods. This ensures that the body will become healthier.

Exercise is the next phase in how to burn fat fast. Simple exercises, such as walking till the markets or for chores, jogging in the mornings and using a cycle instead of a car can have a big impact. Pacing around when on a phone call and doing simple leg lifts while sitting keeps the body continuously in motion, which does not let the body slow down the fat burning process. As more and more calories are burnt, more fat gets burnt too.

Taking up sports, such as swimming and football or dancing makes for a great way to burn fat fast. Exercises such as weight training and cardio-vascular are meant to increase the muscle mass of the body. When the muscles are toned and fit, they naturally burn fat faster when working. Other great exercises include lunges, squats, sit ups and pull ups. All of them burn the fat fast.
