Many scientific and medical researches and studies have found out that high cholesterol levels and blood pressure issues are the two main problems bothering old people.
An increased amount of calcium and Vitamin D are both important for bone health. This is the reason why health experts emphasise on increasing the amount of milk and milk products in diets for old people. Another thing to keep in mind is to increase the amount of fibre foods in their diets, such as more fruits and vegetables. This is because old people have less physical activity because of which they have chances of constipation, and fibre rich foods help in dealing with it.
