Constipation and high intake of red meat are some of the common causes of diverticulosis and patient are advised to take diet rich in fibre because fibre content allows water retention in small intestine and it may ease the bowl movement.

Crohn's ileitis: It is a condition, in which, a portion of small intestine called ileum is inflamed. Crohn's ileitis is a form of Crohn's disease, which is mostly found in teenagers and it causes crater like regions in the small intestine, which can later develop into deep ulcers. The symptoms of Crohn's disease are vomiting, fever, weight loss and pain in abdomen.
