Many women suffer from unwanted facial hair, usually on the chin, sides of the faces and upper lip. This hair growth may be due to hormonal imbalances. 3. Bleaching - Continuous uses of harsh bleaches damage the tissue and leave our face appearing grazed, feeling raw and burned. Bleaches and depilatory chemicals cause undesired affect on the skin like pigmentation in the tanned or dark skin. Harsh synthetic compounds present in the removal creams which are used for the purpose of hair lightening contain acids, salts and solvents and alkalis.



4. Costly, repeated and painful treatment of the laser - This treatment of laser for facial hair may cause the discoloration of the skin. It is costly also and the skin is discolored for a prolong time after treatment.

Various options are available for the removal of the facial hair.

Waxing: Most popular solutions for the removal of hair is waxing. The result of the waxing depends upon the type of the skin and it may last for 2-4 weeks. You can wax your hair of upper lips and the side of the face but waxing on the chin is not recommended. Also for the darker skinned women the waxing is not advisable because it may result into discoloration of the skin.

Depilatory creams: At the base of the follicle, these creams dissolve the hair. It is not advisable to use these creams on your face as it may cause the irritation in the skin and you may not get completely relief from the facial hair. It may be recommended for legs. But it is relatively inexpensive.

Tweezing: It is not an ideal solution especially for the women of darker complexion. Repeatedly plucking will result into thick and darker hair.
