Homemade Facial Masks, Natural Face Mask Recipes

Different types of skin requires different facial mask. If you will go for homemade face mask then you will feel great and your skin will start glowing. First decide which type of facial mask will suit to your skin because everyone is having different skin. Before using the homemade facial mask, be careful to see whether you are allergic to those things? To check the homemade facial masks first apply to the back of your ear in small area. If everything is okay then go for that homemade facial mask. It is very easy to prepare and also inexpensive. Many things which are used in making homemade facial mask are available in our home only. Some of the homemade facial masks which you can prepare easily are-

Make a pack by mixing and mashing 1 tablespoon of honey, half cup of yogurt and one-forth ripe banana. Apply this homemade facial pack to your face up to neck. Leave it for 10 minutes and after that rinses it with normal water.

Apply water to fuller's earth (multani mitti) powder and make effective facial mask. You can apply this mask to your hair a well as to your whole body. Apply this homemade facial mask for half an hour and then rinse it.

Make a paste of half cup of gram flour, 2 teaspoon of sandal wood powder, 2 teaspoon of almond oil and ghee, 2 tablespoon of turmeric powder and some water. Apply this paste to your face as well as to your body for 5-10 minutes. Remove this paste by rubbing this paste with palm and fingers with pressure. This is used by the brides and it is very traditional mask.

Make a thick paste by using the clay (which suits your skin), floral water or plain water or some wetting agents like purees of fruit. Apply this homemade facial pack to your face for 20 minutes. After drying, wash your face with warm water. This homemade facial mask should be applied at least weekly.

Take one cup of oatmeal and one small cucumber, and mix it properly then add one teaspoon of milk cream (malai) or yogurt in it. Apply this mask to your face and let it dry for 30 minutes. Rinse your face with plain water. This mask is very effective for dry skin.

Make a thin mixture of plain yogurt and 1 teaspoon of brewer's yeast. Apply this mixture to your face and leave it for 20 minutes. Rinse this paste with warm water and after that wash it with cold water. It is very effective for oily skin.
